UTECTAL – 1 white

UTECTAL – 1 white is a polyacetal-copolymer used mainly for back-up rings, guide rings, bushes and precision machined parts with tight tolerances. POM is one of the most important engineering plastics with good physical properties, low water absorbtion and good chemical resistance. It is used in mineral oils, water based fire resistant pressure fluids (HFA, HFB and HFC), concentrated acids and bases will destroy it. UTECTAL – 1 is suitable for applications in contact with foodstuff and is also used in many applications in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
