UTECFLON-1 White is a virgin polytetrafluorethylene. Due to its composition,it has the widest applicationrange of all sealing materials. lt has an outstanding chemical resistance and is only susceptible to moltenalkali metals andelementary fluorine at hightemperatures. PTFE has a tendency to creep and canabsorb relatively low pressure loads. UTECFLON-1 White is suitable for applications in contact with foodstuffs and is also used in many applications in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
