UTECTHANE - H red is a hydrolysis resistant casted polyurethane elastomer. It combines the excellent physical properties of UTECTHANE with a high resistance to degradation in water (hydrolysis). UTECTHANE - H has excellent stability in mineral oil and can be used in “water-hydraulics” in applications like in mining and tunnelling machines and hydraulic presses up to a temp. of 90°C.It is especially recommended for the use in seawater, HFA, HFB fire resistant pressure fluids and biologically degradable hydraulic fluids (vegetable oils and synthetic esters).
